4. Student academic scholarships. Tom Seablom raised the topic of developing
a MSAF academic scholarship to give to college students at the executive
committee meeting. Ernie presented the idea and opened for discussion. Some
discussion took place.
Motion to have $500 annual scholarship for MTU and MSU, each: made by Tom
Seablom

" Brenda Owens is the new editor. Michigan will be the first chapter
to try this out. Contact Brenda if you have any concerns/comments about

" 6/27/08 is deadline for August issue. (Conclave info should be in
this edition)

" Representative Greg Russell was introduced to the group.
" Greg gave group update on Council meeting held in Bethesda, MD in
March.

of SAF Vice-President Bernie Hubbard
" Thanked those who voted for him.
" He has noted that people in these positions try to have a "theme"
to help focus their efforts. Bernie wants to key in on sustainability issues.
Marvin Brown had begun a few years ago.
